If you’re anything like my clients, writing a book might be one of those big bucket list items you dream of achieving someday. However, the idea of writing a book is often overwhelming and mysterious, and there are lots of ways to go about it nowadays. So, if you know you have a book in you, but wonder what steps to take next, you’re in luck.
I’m joined by four of my clients this week who are in completely different industries but have one thing in common: they’ve all either written books or are currently in the process of writing. Jaime is a positive reinforcement dog trainer, Maggie is a yoga teacher and style coach, Kim is an artist, and April is a medical doctor. They’re the perfect examples of how your circumstances don’t define your experience, and they’re here to pull back the curtain on the book-writing process.
Listen in this week as Jaime, Maggie, Kim, and April join me for a book panel where we’re discussing their experiences of writing their books. They’re sharing the differences between self-publishing and working with a publishing team, what surprised them most about their writing process, the important lessons they learned, and how valuable being in community can be if authoring a book is a dream of yours.
